New Deal: The First Day of Placement?

Well getting over ish of the depressing Friday, it was the weekend wahoo. I lost track of time on the internet on Saturday as I got hooked on BBC science psychology tests (aparantley I'm a peacemaker, an extravert, have good millionaire potential, am crap at spotting a fake smile & that I'm nowhere near squeamish enough, who am I to Judge? that's right I'm me) & nothing got done. With the rival gay moot starting up that day, it was probably for the best, I could have got myself in trouble as my foot tends to live in my mouth & would have said something out of order that could have got me banned from Angels. When I did leave to so my gorgeous boyfriend I did my usual trick of falling asleep infront of the tv, which may make me sound like a crap boyfriend but he fell asleep not long after aparantly, but then again we were watching Star Wars, so it's understandable.

Sunday came & after the first full nights sleep I had, I felt quite good & the fact that I was not alone in bed has more advantages than I dare to indulge, as I'm really sure you don't want the ins & outs of my sex life. I got out of doing some of the household chores usually asigned to me on a Sunday morning round his by repotting some of his herbs as the ones that needed partial shade were getting full sun & some just didn't like sharing the same ice cream tub.

After hibernating indoors for the strongest hours of sunlight I went down to my veggie plot. To my surprise, my carrots were not lost to the couch grass, but I will admit they were in nothing that resembled rows as I fond them amongst my garlic, onions & what is left of my broccoli after the birds finished snacking on them (I have some as back up so I'm not to narked by it), as the when I planted the carrot seeds it was rather windy so I need to thin them out & put them into the rows which I was hoping atleast they'd roughly be in. I need to plant out my tomatoes soon as well but I need to get some manure first.

I went to bed early that night so I could get up bright & early for today, I don't know why I bothered. I arrived so early that I was the first one there & it was another half hour before the New Deal place even opened. When everything got ready for the day, I was told by the guy who organises the placement that the people who were supposed to be on placement had the day off. Lets just say I wasn't pleased & leave it as that. The terms piss ups & breweries spring to mind again

So what did I do I headed straightover to Ken's to use his computer, as the weather looked way too doubtful for vegetable gardening however behind I am. I was right it tipped it down. During a slightly less rainy patch in time I help Ken's mum fill fer skip, which was about the same size as an over fed Alsation, from which I was treated by Ken to a '5 course banquet' at his local Indian restaurant. It considered a naan bread as a course, & there was me thinking it was an accompanyment or a side dish at best, but for the price I can't argue too much. I was doing yet another quiz which was a link off An Fianna about what is your true element, to which I found was shadow. Last time I checked there were for cardinal elements & occaisionaly one overal element on top for magical purposes (earth, air, fire, water, spirit/ether) or in the Chinese five (earth, fire, water, metal, wood) but never shadow, or come to that matter dark or light. Hmm fluffies I presume especially with the anime pictures that accompnied them were of girls representing the so called element wearing cat ears. Not going to take that one seriously as I'm air according to astrology, being a Gemini. Which means it's not long till I reach 25 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH I'm aging, I'm aging in my best Wicked Witch of the West voice.

So now my campness has reared it's ugly head I'm now going to hide just incase I see it reflected in the computer screen.

Goodbye
